First Day of School September 9: What to do, Where to go!

For Kindergartners: 415 Ovington Ave. School day is from 8:00am to 11:30am.

  1. Free Breakfast is available at 7:30 am for students only. Parents may accompany students.
  2. Teachers will meet parents and students in front of the school. At 8:00, teachers will take their students to the classroom. Parents may go with their children and stay in the classroom until 8:45.
  3. At 8:45am, parents must leave the classroom and are invited for coffee hosted by the PTA
  4. The school day ends at 11:30am.

Thursday, September 10: Full school day, 8:00am to 2:20pm. Parents will not be allowed in classrooms on this day. If your student is signed up for NIA, afterschool begins on Thursday.

For 1st and 2nd Grades and 6, 7, and 8th grades: 7002 4th Ave. School day is from 8:00am to 2:20pm.

All students must enter through gate on Ovington Ave. No one may enter from 4th Avenue.

  1. Free Breakfast is from 7:30 am for students.
  2. All students will line up in school yard. At 8:00 am, all students will go to their classrooms with their teachers.
  3. School dismissal for all students is at 2:20pm. There is no Afterschool on Wednesday. NIA Afterschool begins on Thursday, September 10.
