Posted April 1, 2016 By R Merrill

It’s time to order your yearbook. The PS/IS 30 yearbook is now on sale for students K-7th grade. 8th grade gets one copy as part of their package.

This book will contain images of classmates, sports, activities, faculty and more. It is a pictorial glimpse of the entire year. The yearbook will be a full color, hardcover book created by and for the students of PS/IS 30.

Each book will cost $25 and can be paid in cash or a check payable to PS/IS 30. The book will be delivered two weeks before the end of the school year.

If you would like to order your yearbook, please download and print attached form, fill out the information and return this form with your payment to your official class teacher or Mr. Askew by Friday, April 15th.

Thank You: Mr. Askew and the Yearbook Committee

“Louder, read louder!” Alla Umanskaya urges two sixth grade girls as they stand before a class of first graders, holding up picture books in trembling hands. As the librarian at PS/IS 30 Mary White Covington, a K-8 school in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, Umanskaya has run a wildly popular reading buddy program for nearly two years, building on eight years of experience facilitating similar programs at Brooklyn Public Library.”
