Exciting news from PS/IS 30’s Science Teacher Mr. Tubbs:

I wanted to share some exciting news…I was selected to be a Space Foundation Teacher Liaison!

From the Space Foundation Website: “Teacher Liaisons are extraordinary educators who use space-related education programs and principles in the classroom to act as advocates for space-based education in their schools and districts…Space Foundation Teacher Liaisons serve as active links between the Space Foundation and their schools and school districts and often work with other space organizations, such as NASA.”

This is another opportunity for me to have access to resources and materials that can be utilized to enhance the experience our kids get in the science classroom.

Here is a link to the press release. Interesting fact: 7 of the 31 selected are members of the teacher program sponsored by Space Center Houston, of which I am also a part.
