E-Cigarette Letter to Parents
Posted February 7, 2018 By Hal MillerDear Parents/Guardians
We want to share with you some information about a trend that has emerged among young people. The use of e-cigarettes and vaporizer pens is increasing. There are various types of e-cigarettes and vaporizer pens, so we have included some images to help you recognize them. These devices can sometimes be mistaken for USB flash drives. They can be used to “SMOKE” flavored oils, nicotine oil, or cannabis (marijuana) oil. They are often odorless, so their use can be hard to detect. We encourage you to discuss this with your child.
These devices are PROHIBITED in the school. If found in school, they will be confiscated. If used in school, we will have to take disciplinary actions.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Carol Heeraman, Principal
