Disability Pride Parade

On Sunday July 9th at 11:00AM, the NYC Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities will be holding their 3rd annual Disability Pride Parade. This is a march for everyone: people with disabilities, friends and family of people with disabilities, city agencies who serve the disability community and anyone else that just wants to celebrate disability pride.
With a population of almost 1 million people with disabilities in NYC, every city agency has worked in some way to make a difference for the community. The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities is asking for city agencies to show their disability pride and come march. This is a great opportunity for outreach, community engagement and to just have a good time.
